Don't miss out on the North East's largest celebration of the finance and accounting sector. BOOK YOUR TABLE NOW!

Following a fantastic 2-day judging event attended by over 100 financial professionals from various industries across the region, we are now eagerly awaiting the winning result which will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday 25th June 2015 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead.

We want to encourage the Finance and Accountancy sector across the region to 'blow its own trumpet' and come together to celebrate its successes over the last year. As an added incentive for taking the time to recognise excellence within the industry, all those who submit a nomination will be entered into a prize draw to win a ticket to this year's Awards Dinner and one night's bed and breakfast at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead after the Awards.

We are delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the North East Accountancy Awards 2015.

The Awards recognise excellence within the fields of finance, accounting and tax from all industry sectors operating in the North East. Whether you are an accountancy firm, a local business, a service provider or a public sector organisation we encourage nominations and attendance from all finance teams and individuals.

This will be the 9th North East Accountancy Awards, and this year we have decided to incorporate some new elements, further cementing our position as the region's largest celebration of the finance and accountancy sector.

  • We have simplified the nomination process and made each form category specific to make it as easy as we can for you to submit a winning entry.
  • Some of our categories have been amended, giving all accountancy firms, large and small, the opportunity to take home one of our top Awards.
  • We have introduced a new category designed to recognise those who have provided significant contribution to the development of their company or organisation within a non executive role.

Last year’s awards went to teams and individuals from a range of companies and organisations, from private and public sector. What they all had in common was a commitment to excellence across the board and a clear strategic vision. Every entry is scrutinised by the same criteria and it's quality not quantity, that wins the top prizes.

A panel of judges, including managing partners, chief executives and business leaders from firms and multinational companies, will once again be judging the awards.

Three good reasons to enter....

  1. Help raise the profile of your organisation to the profession, the North East and beyond
  2. Gain prestige and recognition from your industry peers
  3. Give your team the appreciation they deserve
Best of luck to all entrants.

The North East Accountancy Awards are proud to be supported by the following associations: AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, CIOT and ICAEW.
