Jane Cuthbetson, Senior Auditor, North Tyneside Council

Jane Cuthbertson is a qualified CPFA following earlier studies to become a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

During her CIPFA studies, Jane was the Inaugural Chair of the National Students Forum that was set up by CIPFA in 2002. The Forum has developed to become a body right at the heart of the CIPFA family. This is demonstrated by the initiative to include a student representative on CIPFA Council - Jane held that position for 2004. After her qualification, Jane was nominated for Council elections and was successful in gaining a seat at Council in 2004/05 as a duly elected member.

Jane is the Honorary Secretary for CIPFA's Northern Division of the North East Region, and divisional representative on the CIPFA North East Executive Committee.

Jane is currently a Senior Auditor in the Internal Audit Section at North Tyneside Council.
