The awards evening will take place on Thursday 25th June at Hilton Newcastle Tyne Bridge
Celebrating the 19th North East Accountancy Awards we’re looking forward to welcoming you to the North East’s premium awards ceremony for the finance sector. The evening will consist of a three course meal, drinks, entertainment and of course the awards ceremony. Can’t wait to see you there!

Bedrooms can be booked at the Hilton Newcastle Tyne Bridge at the best available rate.
We do have a limited number of B&B single occupancy rooms available at £125 on a first come first serve basis. Please email info@accountancyawards.co.uk and we will share the discount link.
There are also a number of different hotel options at various price points within a 10 minute walk.
Parking
The Hilton has limited car parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. All event attendees will be able to park free of charge for the evening of the event. Overnight parking may incur a charge.

Host: Alfie Joey
Alfie Joey has appeared everywhere from the Comedy Store & Wembley Arena to Coronation Street & Britain’s Got Talent.
On BBC Radio Newcastle Alfie interviewed pop stars, politicians, Oscar winners and Olympians. He hosts the podcast, ‘Speaker’s Corner with Alfie Joey ‘ and gives public speaking advice as the #SpeakEasyGuy Communication Coach. His TedX Talk ‘Changing Lanes’ is on YouTube and tells his story.
Alfie recently won ‘Communicator of the Year’ at the CIPR Awards.
On TV, Alfie played Vic Reeves’ doctor in the BBC series ‘Hebburn’ & he was in all 7 series of ‘Ideal’, a cult sitcom starring Johnny Vegas.
He is one half of the comedy impressionist double act ‘The Mimic Men’ with Cal Halbert. Their BGT appearance has had over 3 million views on YouTube. Alfie & Cal coach a ‘Confidence Through Comedy’ course.

Charity Partner: The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation
The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, part of Newcastle Hospitals Charity, helps to make a real difference to patients, families, staff and the wider communities of Newcastle Hospitals.
From funding cutting-edge cancer treatment and innovative cancer support services, including the clinical trials of new drugs, to enhancing hospital spaces and supporting vital research.
Sir Bobby described his charity as his “last and greatest team.” He had no idea how large his team would grow, or how much it would go on to achieve.
The Foundation’s latest and largest project to date is to fund a brand-new, world-leading cancer trials research institute in Sir Bobby’s name at Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Freeman Hospital.
The Foundation has already raised £26.5m of its £30m target through the generosity of its supporters. Another £3.5m is now needed to help make this vision a reality.
This is a final push to honour Sir Bobby Robsson’s life, legacy, and vision for better cancer care and treatment.
